| We are a best of home-stars company located in Toronto. We use Jeep TJ’s and Ford F-150/250 to battle any type of storm that Canada has to offer. We mainly do residential snow removal service. During the winter time we do snow plowing and we are looking for drivers with a clean driving record with at least 5 years of driving experience and proof of insurance for those years. In the event you don’t have snow plowing experience, we would provide the training. Please do not call looking for a job if you do not meet the requirements below: Clean drivers ‘G’ license with 5 year of driving experience in the GTA. ‘G’ license driver to operate vehicle with snow plow/salter. ‘G’ license driver to operate vehicle for snow clearing/salting. Snow/ice removal and salting in assigned areas using shovels and other snow removal equipment. 24/7 on-call availability, hours of operation will be dependent on the weather Early morning starts, extended hours, and weekend duty including holidays. Performs routine equipment maintenance. Inspects equipment on regular basis. Complies with safety precautions. Follows all safety rules, policies, and regulations Applicants must be available, punctual and prepared to work day or night as determined by the weather. Must be prepared, equipped and dressed accordingly for all weather conditions (Including: jacket, snow pants, insulated construction boots, gloves, hat, etc.) Able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team. Experience in snow removal and winter maintenance is an asset. Has a means of transportation to and from work. A positive attitude! Salary: Depending on your experience. Payment received every Friday of every week until the end of contract. Either way if it snows or not you get paid. |
