Dear friends,

Today a family friend reached out to us with some very tragic news. Jelena Manela's granddaughter (Natasha Manela's daughter), 9 year old Isabel has been diagnosed with a very rare form of leukemia. She danced at Oplenac for those who might know her. She is now living at Sick Kids hospital and as I write this, is undergoing a round of chemo. This treatment is not helping her. The doctors now say her only hope is a stem cell transplant. The greatest hope at a match lies within the Serbian community. Particularly within the group of males between the ages of 17-35 and women who have not had many children. There has been a donor clinic set up for January 12th. The test in painless. It is just a cheek swab and takes only a few moments.

I am asking all of you to help Isabel. Please come to the clinic along with whomever else you can pile in your cars on January 12! If there are those who don't drive we will make shuttle arrangements from a subway.
